What is Veda Yoga?

Veda Yoga offers primarily vinyasa flow classes. We have 3 levels of vinyasa to accommodate beginner, intermediate, and advanced practitioners. We also offer a couple specialty classes once a week: inversions, acroyoga, restorative, and kirtan. Our instructors come from an eclectic mix of backgrounds and we respect each person’s individual experience. We encourage our students to adjust or modify their practice as they see fit.

Yoga is a practice to benefit physical, mental, and spiritual health. Nobody is “good”or “bad” at yoga. Yoga is not a competition and it doesn’t matter how far or how deep one can get into a pose. What matters is that you breathe consciously and stay connected to the present moment. These are really the only two things you need for a successful practice. That’s it. There is no such thing as a perfect pose. The phrase “no pain no gain does not apply”. Just come and be yourself. Leave your shoes and ego at the door.
